Chemicals to Avoid

Cookware: Plastic water bottles, aluminum pans, Teflon pans, saran wrap, aluminum foil, plastic storage containers.

Food: MSG, mercury, fluoride, pesticides, fungicides, fertilizer, preservatives, food additives, artificial sweeteners, food dyes, and hydrogenated oils.

Cleaning Supplies: Scented detergents, soaps, bleach, spot remover, carpet cleaners, fabric softeners, and household cleaners.

Home: Most inexpensive furniture is constructed with particle board. Particle board emits toxic vapors such as formaldehyde, a known cancer-causing agent. New carpets, mattresses, pillow, new paint, and air fresheners all contribute to toxins in the air.

Lymphatic System

Lymphatic System

The lymphatic system circulates, cleans, and filters all of the leftover blood in the body. There is three times more lymph in the body than blood. Learning to cleanse the lymph system is imperative for health.

80% of our immune cells reside in our ‘gut’. These immune cells are contained in Gut Associated Lymphatic Tissue (GALT). The gut is the storehouse of the lymph system, involving everything from our tonsils and adenoids in our throat to our large intestines. White blood cells that are part of the lymph system are called Lymphocytes and are made and stored in the thymus, spleen, appendix, bone marrow and lymph nodes throughout the body. As you can see, from your mouth to your colon, the lymph is a major system that needs cleansing.

Kidneys – the Main Blood Filter

Kidneys – the Main Blood Filter

Kidneys are two reddish, bean-shaped organs located on either side of your spine in the middle of your back. Their main job is to filter your blood. They are about the size of your fist and keep you healthy by maintaining the correct balance of water and other substances in your body. They process about 40 gallons of fluid every day, collecting toxins, nutrients and water, sending harmful waste and excess water and nutrients to the bladder to be flushed out of the body.
